RESEARCH ON MERCURY AND CHELATION
One of the physicians present appears to the IRB to present a proposal for a clinical trial using an oral chelator for mercury. The history of this product is that it was sold as a nutritional supplement. There were never any adverse events or safety issues reported. 3 clinical trials have already taken place in a number of countries, and no safety issues or adverse effects have been seen.
Questions were asked and limitations imposed on the study by this IRB. Given those conditions, the study passed unanimously, contingent upon the changes requested in the IRB meeting.
The next meeting will be held on Friday, February 8, 2019 at noon, the usual place.
